3D Progress 1 [Define]

To start, a lot of my test renders are draft and SUPER grainy. My current laptop can't render things out properly (money for renderfarming is not fun). There's a lot more pictures then text for this post.

So I started with the walls, using the line tool to create the entire boundary for the home. Cutting into the geometry for window spaces, doorframes and etc. Making them easier to edit into later on. Textured some simple images onto the walls, and bricked the outside (more for my own gain then anything else..)

Then I started messing with the insides, setting up assets, sorting out textures, making sure they don't stretch, and they rendered correctly. Bump maps, specular maps, leveling things out, not over cluttering. A lot more work went into this then my laptop could properly handle! It was a hard process, as I've been having PC troubles as of late anyway. Constant GPU crashes do not make me happy...

I think the finalized polycount sat over 1million polys.. Turbosquid assets don't really keep it low key that's for sure. Of course I made some patches myself! the kitchen, windows, the mirror and the lamp, and general wall interior was made by myself just so I got some neat practice in.

Then I'll add a roof details, lighting.. Change some bits.. Scenery.. Set it up.. Man, lighting is not my strong point but as the model stands. I'm happy with it right now, let's keep it up!
